We recommend bringing water for your dog to drink, poo bags, a towel to dry him or her off and that you wear sensible outdoor shoes. Q: Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, all dog parks must be booked in advance to make sure each visit remains private and relaxed. We recommend booking at least a day before to avoid disappointment, but sometimes same day bookings are possible!

Q: Are the Meols parks fully enclosed?

Yes, Paw Park is fully enclosed and has double gated entrances for added safety. We cannot and do not claim that our parks are escape proof however and we do not recommend them for dogs who have a history of escaping or who could hurt or harm another user if they did so.

Q: Is Meols a separate location from your Wirral parks?

Yes, our Meols dog parks are located on Park Lane (the junction of Carr Lane and Park Lane) - the closest post code is CH47 8XT and are a completely separate site from our other locations.

Q: Can I choose which park to book?

Our Meols Dog Park currently only has one hire option, but any of our locations allow you to book the individual park you like. Our Meols park is called Paw Park!

Q: Are the parks suitable for nervous or reactive dogs?

Yes, private hire means your dog has exclusive use of the park with no shared sessions, making it ideal for nervous or reactive dogs.

Q: Is the park suitable for my dog?

It is up to you to determine if the park is suitable for your dog. You are responsible for your dog during your visit and for deciding if this is a suitable activity for your dog. Our parks are natural, outdoor environments and subject to seasonal changes, weather etc. Do not allow your dog to attempt to escape from the parks or to eat anything that they may find.

Q: My dog is an escape artist - is this suitable?

We do not recommend our parks for any dog who could try to escape - as our parks are not escape proof for a determined dog! It is up to you to determine if the park is suitable for your dog to use.

Q: I have a banned breed - can we come?

If you have a banned breed, you can come but there are some things you need to do first- Send us your public liability certificate and your dog's exemption certificate to info@hjb.034.myftpupload.com Your dog must be neutered or castrated You must keep your dog on lead and muzzled in public areas Your dog can be off lead in the enclosed park once both gates are closed and the padlock is locked (to stop someone walking in) Call us or email us and we will help you if you have any questions!
